Ramblin’ Rose
Nowadays, ‘Boys-like’ comes as cliché of men’s fashion industry, so that we challenged to search another possibility to create hypothetically ‘Girls-like’ into our latest collection. It was kind of an adaptation of non-existent but existable memories to the reality. Inspired by one of the work of Yumiko Oshima, comic artist, after passed the deepest room of night through the rabbit hole, we are thinking that our work comes up by facing some changes.
今回あらたに試みたのは、メンズファッションのクリシェである少年性に抗して、少女性というもうひとつの可能性を仮構すること。それはいわば、ありえたかもしれない記憶をフィクショナルに組み上げる作業でした。コレクションタイトルはつるバラのこと。あえて直訳すれば、さまようバラとなります。インスピレーションを得た大島弓子の作品を起点として、うさぎ穴から夜のもっとも深い部分をくぐり抜けることで、なんらかの変化に身をさらしたコレクションになったのではないかと考えています。
