“I envisioned a woman who’s both sophisticated and has a strong street style vibe. I think pairing the look with slightly faded denim—rather than skirts or slacks—is more in line with today’s trends. I deliberately kept the styling simple to highlight the street style without making it look overly high-fashion,” (Kurosawa)

SHORT BOMBER JACKET ¥ 37,000 + TAX
This short, padded bomber jacket has become a recent trend. Its dropped-shoulder, loose silhouette creates a perfectly relaxed look, and its compact design gives it a modern feel. The eye-catching feature is the graphic on the back, which boldly prints the message “KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE STAR (★), AND YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND” using the ”★” logo.

“Since this coat draws the eye right to its decorative collar, I left the front buttons undone to create a light, airy look and added a touch of flair by layering a logo T-shirt underneath. By choosing cropped-length pants that balance well with the long coat, I’ve added a feminine touch without making the outfit look frumpy,” (Kurosawa)

“I think pairing a loose-fitting top with slim-fit jeans creates a look that’s very on-trend right now. While it may seem like a basic outfit—a sweatshirt paired with slightly faded jeans—the key is to focus on the overall balance of proportions and silhouette to achieve a modern look,” says Kurosawa.

LETTERED TAPE SWEATSHIRT ¥ 23,000 + TAX
SKINNY DENIM PANTS ¥ 19,000 + TAX

LETTERED TAPE SWEATSHIRT ¥ 23,000 + TAX
This crew-neck sweatshirt, crafted from a thick, substantial fabric, features a distinctive silhouette that flows from the shoulders down to the sleeves when worn. By incorporating the brand logo as a tape-like trim, the brand has transformed this basic piece into a trendy ’80s-inspired design.

"If you zip up the neck all the way, it can look too tight and heavy, so to create a feminine, airy look, it might be best to leave it open just enough to show your collarbone. “Given the fabric and length of this hoodie, I feel like pairing it with pants would make the look too heavy, so I think the best approach is to wear it on its own, confidently showing off your legs,” (Kurosawa)

HOODY SWEAT ONE PIECE ¥ 33,000 + TAX

HOODY SWEAT ONE PIECE ¥ 33,000 + TAX
This dress-style hoodie, made from long-pile fleece, has an exquisite texture and is incredibly comfortable to wear. “While PrimaLoft® pullovers tend to be styled with a sporty or outdoor vibe, I wanted to show that there are other ways to wear them, so I deliberately styled this look in an all-black, monochromatic palette. I paired it with slim-fit black jeans in a perfect size, and by unifying the color tones, I created a sleek look ideal for city wear.” (Kurosawa)

“For this styling suggestion, I kept both the top and pants loose-fitting without altering their silhouettes. By conveying the unique, effortless vibe that cardigans and wide-leg pants bring to the overall look, I think I was able to capture an authentic, down-to-earth Tokyo style that doesn’t try too hard,” (Kurosawa)

STAR CARDIGAN ¥ 29,000 + TAX
STAR LOGO T-SHIRTS ¥7,800 + TAX
INDIGO WIDE-LEG JEANS ¥ 24,000 + TAX
STAR DRAWSTRING BAG ¥ 32,000 + TAX

STAR CARDIGAN ¥ 29,000 + TAX
A loose-fitting, long-length cardigan featuring a scattered black star pattern across the entire white body. With its simple yet bold logo design, this piece makes a strong statement of individuality.

“Since the texture, design, and color of this piece make such a strong statement, I imagined what it would look like if we gave Takeshi Kitano—who used to wear a lot of patterned knits back in the ’80s when he was younger—a modern twist… (laughs). So, while this is just a suggestion, I focused on creating a look that creates a sense of depth when worn. To highlight the vibrant colors of the knit—which takes center stage—I chose bottoms in muted, dark tones.” (Kurosawa)

BIG STAR SWEATER ¥ 29,000 + TAX
LOOP YARN JERSEY PANTS ¥ 23,000 + TAX

(Right)
BIG STAR SWEATER ¥ 29,000 + TAX
Like the women’s cardigan, this piece is made with a lightweight fabric and features intarsia knitting for a beautiful color effect. The refined, elegant blue is a pleasure to the eye. A star-patterned logo graphic in a contrasting color is featured on the left front side, but due to the nature of the mohair fabric, the design appears slightly blurred. The finish exudes the brand’s signature flair.
