What is the role of "Reebok" in the "UNITED ARROWS" brand?
Uchiyama:We sell many suits and leather shoes, and many of these items are of British origin. In that sense, Reebok is also a brand that originated in England, and I have a sense of affinity with it.
The "Classic Leather," which we have specially ordered this time, has maintained the so-called authentic retro running style since its birth. I can't help but feel that this is where Reebok's origins lie. On the other hand, there are also innovative models such as the "INSTAPUMP FURY," which I think give the impression of being the original high-tech shoe.
Ms. Uchiyama, have you been a Reebok customer yourself?
Uchiyama:I used to wear the "Classic Leather" shoes, and the "Instapump Fury" shoes are the best. They were released in the early 90's, and I wore them back then.
It looks like it was released in 1994.
Uchiyama:I see. Before that, I was playing tennis, and Michael Chan was wearing Reebok sneakers, which also made a strong impression on me. Of course, I was interested in fashion, so I was aware of the existence of "classic leather," but on the other hand, I also thought it was cool when I saw Michael Chan wearing them while watching a tennis game.
You were looking at Reebok from many different perspectives.
Uchiyama:. that's right. Then the Instapump Fury appeared, and I remember thinking, "Wow! It was shocking that they came out with such an innovative model in the 1990s. So, in my mind, Reebok is both a classic brand and an innovative brand. Nowadays, there are many such brands, but I have the impression that Reebok was a pioneer in this field.

Uchiyama:I agree. I like the retro running style and the fact that they are all leather. And the lasts are slimmer than other sneakers, giving the impression of being thin. I feel that they have something in common with leather shoes. Of course, they are sporty items, but I have the impression that they are elegant and sophisticated sneakers, just like leather shoes.
