Burberry has just announced a new product. It is a gabardine capsule commemorating Burberry's 170th anniversary.

As the name implies, the focus of this work is gabardine, one of Burberry's most iconic materials. For those who do not know, gabardine was developed by the brand's founder Thomas Burberry in 1879. This densely woven fabric is resistant to rain and wind, and has been used for trench coats and other garments.

Of particular interest in the Gabardine Capsule line are the outerwear pieces made of cotton-nylon gabardine. These items are ideal for everyday use, and each is dyed in a special color: hamper beige and juniper green, respectively.

Knits, pants, and T-shirts prepared to match are also highlights.
