"INN the people," a barbershop and hair salon that opened in Nagoya in 2009.
In 2022, we relocated our base to Tokyo and have been putting into practice a free-spirited approach to restaurant design that breaks away from conventional norms—for example, by adding a standing bar specializing in natural wines to bring to life our long-standing concept of “a small, imaginary hotel where people gather.”
As part of a new initiative, In the People will be holding a photo exhibition titled "WE ARE HIRING" at Bonus Track Gallery 2 in Shimokitazawa, starting Tuesday, January 20.
This exhibition, themed around recruitment, features the 2026 main visual featuring six customers as models. Furthermore, the reception party on the opening day will feature not only drinks but also a limited-edition revival of “Barber Shop Oden,” and an after-party will be held at a different venue—making for a fun-filled event packed with playful touches that defy the typical expectations of a recruitment event.
By the way, the exhibition runs for one week, through Monday, January 26. We invite you to take this opportunity to visit the venue and explore the unique experimental recruitment format that is characteristic of In the People.
