Photographer Tatsuru Nakata holds his first photography exhibition. Please enjoy the resonance of ambiguity and fluctuation that unfolds in the unfinished space "Koryo.

"KOUYO (Kouyo)," a spatial project themed around the "margins of time" where people, emotions, and memories intersect, is scheduled to have its grand opening in the spring of 2026.

The skyscrapers and neon lights reflected on the surface of the city river.
They are, by their very nature, man-made objects with a linear and clear structure.
However, the ripples on the water’s surface distort the image, blurring its contours and transforming it into something whose meaning cannot be pinned down.

True to its name, this photo exhibition, “Oscillation,” captures the sensation that arises in the moment when an “image” is still taking shape.

This uncertainty and fluctuation resonate strongly with the unfinished space “KOUYO,” and as the photographs and the space emerge while blurring each other’s contours, the exhibition transcends its conventional framework and is transformed into a space where visitors can surrender themselves to their senses.

The exhibition runs from Friday, January 30, through Wednesday, February 4.
