Cultural Waves vol.02," a migratory art exhibition, will be held. Curated by painter Joji Nakamura, the exhibition will bring together a total of 23 artists.

The act of appreciating art is also a way of questioning one’s own sense of beauty. What do we take away from a work, and how do we process it? By repeating this process, we hone our sensibilities.

From Saturday, February 14, to Saturday, February 28, at the “KABUTO ONE 1F Atrium” in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, Tokyo "SPACE KESHIKI" and "HUMAN NATURE" in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, Tokyo, is also set to be the perfect opportunity to refine that sense of beauty.

This project is an exhibition that blends various cultural elements—including art, music, and food and drink—with a focus on discovering and creating new values. Last spring, an event featuring Osaka’s “Essential Store” and the “Japan Design Museum” was held, drawing large crowds.

For this second installment, we are pleased to welcome painter Joji Nakamura as curator to showcase works by a total of 23 artists.

Expectations are high for a stimulating exhibition that transcends conventional categories—such as fame, background, generation, and artistic style—as well as the standard criteria for evaluating contemporary art. A special zine created specifically for this exhibition will also be distributed exclusively at “SPACE KESHIKI.” An opening reception is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday the 14th, so it would be wise to arrive early.

This event should provide a great opportunity to step back from titles and conventional standards of evaluation and simply engage with the artwork on its own merits. If you’re interested, please do stop by.
