One fashion house that is currently attracting renewed attention is Dior, led by Jonathan Anderson. Jonathan’s fresh perspective, combined with the couture craftsmanship passed down from the founder, has made this historic fashion house even more captivating.
The sneaker making its debut at this boutique is called the "Dior Saltwind."
The design is inspired by the canvas sneakers once worn by U.S. Marines on boats. It features a rounded toe—a signature element of Jonathan’s shoe design.
Her appearance also caught the eye at the runway show held last June.
The collection includes the "Dior Oblique" pattern rendered in jacquard, as well as styles in nubuck and canvas. The canvas pieces are embroidered with four-leaf clovers and flowers, which were the lucky symbols of the house’s founder, Christian Dior.
I’ve heard there are even special variations available.
These sneakers from Dior, which have the potential to become a new classic, are now available at Dior boutiques nationwide and the official online boutique.
