Drawing on the brand’s status as a research group with world-class processing technology that produces highly authentic vintage-style items, the brand has teamed up with 〈Adam et Ropé (ADAM ET ROPÉ)〉 to create a single pair of jeans.

The item selected as a reference was the “501” from 〈Levi’s® (Levi’s®) “501” jeans: a pair featuring a 1950s leather “xx (double X)” patch and a pair from the late 1960s commonly known as “BIG-E (Big E).”

The fading and wear that create striking contrasts in shade, as well as the unique character resulting from aging—such as whiskers and honeycomb patterns—are faithfully reproduced.

Furthermore, by applying just the right amount of a beige-tinged finish known as “dirt wash,” the jeans achieve a unique look that cannot be replicated with brand-new denim.

The wear and tear on the thighs and around the pockets, as well as the paint on the hems, are subtle details that allow you to directly sense the wearer’s actual experience with the garment, making them one of the highlights of this special edition.

It goes on sale on Saturday, March 28.
