Among the many renowned brands gathered at "Hankyu Men's Osaka," one store that truly stands out is "THE LAST STORE®."
"Last Store" is a specialty shop for vintage eyewear, jewelry, and watches. It is produced by the Okamoto brothers, founders of "SOLAKZADE®," located in the basement of the Goro's Building in Harajuku, Tokyo.
This store will be holding a trunk show at "Isetan Salone" in "Tokyo Midtown" for one week starting Wednesday, March 25.
Its appeal lies in its impressive selection.
The eyewear collection features approximately 10,000 unused frames sourced from around the world. The selection includes frames manufactured between the 1800s and the 1990s. Prices start in the 40,000 yen range. The shop offers on-site services such as frame adjustments, lens fitting, and restoration.
In addition, the collection includes approximately 1,000 pieces of jewelry and watches. The lineup ranges from items priced in the 100,000-yen range to those costing tens of millions of yen.
The jewelry collection features items ranging from intaglio rings from ancient Greece and Rome to sautoirs (long necklaces) from the late 1800s, as well as Tank rings and Tank bracelets crafted in Paris in the 1940s. Our watch collection features collector’s items of which only a few exist worldwide, as well as 19th-century pocket watches and dress watches from the 1920s through the 1970s.
This marks the first step by Osaka-based "Last Store" as it looks to expand into Tokyo. Going forward, as "Solac Zade" transitions into a brand, "Last Store" will take over the handling of vintage items.
If you're looking for vintage accessories, don't miss out. You might just find that perfect piece here.
