An exhibition and sale of Tuareg silver jewelry is currently underway. Approximately 300 pieces, including rare antiques, are on display.

The Sahara Desert, the world’s largest desert, is located in northern Africa. The Tuareg people, who live there as traders and nomads, are also known as the “Blue People” because of the blue clothing they wear.

If you’re familiar with accessories, you’ve probably already caught on. Tuareg silver—ornaments crafted from silver—is considered the symbol of the “Blue People.” In European countries (especially France), Tuareg silver is so popular that it’s the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Native American jewelry.

This time, "FRAME Aoyama" is hosting an exhibition and sale featuring a collection of Tuareg silver. With approximately 300 items on display—including rings, bangles, pendants, and accessories—the event, organized in collaboration with the renowned Fukuoka boutique "spares," features a wide range of pieces, from works by contemporary artisans to rare antiques that have stood the test of time.

The event will run for five days, from Friday, April 10, to Tuesday, April 14.
