The J.M. Weston pop-up event, a gathering place for leather shoe enthusiasts, will be held again this year. The venue is the same as last year: "The Stage" on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.

Of course, the “Weston Vintage” collection will be available again this time. To clarify, this initiative involves collecting J.M. Weston shoes that have reached the end of their useful life, repairing and restoring them at a workshop in Limoges, France, and then reselling them. Their appeal lies in the unique character they’ve acquired from being worn by previous owners—a quality distinct from new shoes—as well as their affordable price point.

In addition, this event will feature shoes made from rare Russian-finished calfskin. This leather is tanned to evoke the look of Russian calfskin—now considered a rarity—and is characterized by its high oil content and a beautifully plump texture. It is said that the tanning process is labor-intensive and time-consuming, making the leather difficult to produce.

This year, dark brown is being introduced as a new color. In addition, a variety of styles will be available, including special models with soles and welts not found in the standard lineup.
