SwTRAS is hosting a shop-in-shop event at MAIDENS SHOP JIMBOCHO! A wide selection of rare pieces, including Omarasa’s Animal Series, is on display.

A "SwTRAS" shop-in-shop will be held at "MAIDENS SHOP JIMBOCHO," the new branch of "MAIDENS SHOP" that opened last month in Jimbocho.

"SwTRAS" is an online shop that carries interior goods and vintage vases sourced from both Japan and abroad. At this event, in addition to British leather goods by OMERSA, plush toy artist YUYA INAGAWA’s creations, as well as vintage vases and tableware by German industrial designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, will be on display and available for purchase.

As shown in the photo above, is a brand that creates leather animal figures that can be used as footstools or desktop accessories. All products are made in the UK using natural cowhide leather, with wooden frames and iron structures stuffed with wood shavings, and each piece is crafted by hand.

Wilhelm Wagenfeld was one of the leading industrial designers of 20th-century Germany. He studied at the Bauhaus and embodied the philosophy of “the union of art and technology.” His designs strip away ornamentation and honestly express structure and function, bringing a quiet presence to everyday spaces.

The exhibition will run for approximately two weeks, from Saturday, April 25, to Sunday, May 10. We invite you to come see these rare works—which are rarely available to the public—at the venue.
