Brahms Lutzstock x Joy Division is not just a graphic reference, but a collection of six different T-shirts that are full of attention to detail.

Joy Division, one of the leading post-punk bands active from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.

Many people have come to know the band not only because of their music, but also because of their impressive cover art. In particular, everyone has probably seen Peter Saville's design for the "Unknown Pleasures" album at least once.

blurhms ROOTSTOCK" has now released six graphic T-shirts in honor of Joy Division.

The work is not a mere graphic reference, but rather a "Brahms Roots Stock" that is created with a focus on how to incorporate the tension in the restrained expression and the strength conveyed by the blank space into everyday life.

This item was produced with an emphasis on balance as a product. The size and placement of the print, the way the margins are taken up, and even the relationship between the print and the body are all finely tuned, pursuing a balance that is natural while at the same time suppressing excessive assertiveness.

All prints are silk-screened, and some are made with American rubber, following the methods of the time. One of the characteristics of this collection is that the prints and fabrics gradually blend with each other through repeated wear and washing, and the appearance changes over time.
