I worked on the "PADDLERS COFFEEIkuya Yoshiyama is from Portland, Ore. Inspired by his memories of his past visits to Portland, he decided to open a store in this form. The interior design and art direction was done by "VacantYusuke Nagai of "The World of the Tennis Club" was in charge of this project. From the concept design to the logo and uniforms, we created a consistent world view.
The cafe on the first floor features Kanazawa's "TOWNSFOLK COFFEEand Yoshiyama's hometown, Kumamoto, Japan.Calmest Coffee ShopIn addition to coffee, we also offer a wide variety of baked goods and a popular store in Kumamoto calledBLANCO ICE CREAMIce cream from the "Ice Cream" section of the restaurant is offered. In addition, craft beer and natural wine are available.
The second floor is directly managed by Sanva, a fragrance brand based on the themes of "memory" and "abstraction" created by Mr. Yoshiyama. The current fragrance lineup includes the herbal, oriental #1 and the smoky #2. Each is available in soap and mist.
And the back of the second floor is a gallery space. Currently, sculptor Yoshihiro Shinjo's solo exhibition "Hadaka Ki no Zokei" is being held. (Until Monday, May 23.
The "Sanva Refreshment Complex" introduced here is in an excellent location, just a minute's walk from Yoyogi-Hachiman Station.
