A record of five weeks of walking in Iceland. Photographer Hiroyuki Ozawa will hold his first solo exhibition "Hávamál.

Photographer.Hiroyuki Ozawa's first solo exhibition, "Hávamál," is being held at "Kit Gallery (kit gallery)" will be held starting Monday, May 25.

This exhibition features approximately 30 photographs taken over the course of about five weeks in September 2024, during which the artist traveled on foot across Iceland’s vast landscape. While walking more than 900 km without a specific destination, the artist documented the landscapes and light encountered along the way, as well as the feelings of solitude and physical sensations experienced, resulting in a body of work that examines the very act of “traveling.”

The title “Hávamál” is derived from the long poem “Hávamál (The Words of the High One),” which is included in the *Elder Edda*, the oldest collection of poetry discovered in Iceland in the 17th century.
