In 1969, adidas released the “Riviera,” a suede sneaker. It was designed to complement the “Tobacco” model, which was released the same year, and is part of the “Leisure Series,” which continues to enjoy enduring popularity.
That "Riviera" is finally being reissued. While "Tobacco" has been released continuously, this marks the first time in a long while that "Riviera" has made an appearance.
RIVIERA ¥15,400
The original French-made design is characterized by its slim silhouette and soft leather, and this reissue faithfully recreates those nuances. It features a thin, supple suede upper and an unlined construction without a lining.
This pair is designed to align with current footwear trends, which favor low-profile styles.
The product will go on sale starting Monday, August 10. In Japan, it will be available exclusively at Adidas-branded stores and "BILLY’S."
