To ensure we never forget August 6 at 8:15 a.m. This year marks the fourth edition of Kosuke Kawamura’s “Roll” exhibition, which features the theme of Hiroshima.

For the fourth consecutive year, in 2026, we will hold an exhibition titled “81 – eighty-one” from Thursday, August 6, through Sunday, August 23.

In addition to new works that mark a return to his artistic roots, this exhibition will also feature the display and sale of new pieces created using machine-made techniques, which he has experimentally incorporated as a new approach. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations working for peace, anti-war efforts, and the abolition of nuclear weapons.

"81 – eighty-one" uses art as a medium to pass on the value of peace to future generations.
