Mate Bike, the leader in e-bikes, has celebrated its 10th anniversary and announced a variety of new initiatives!

In 2016, MATE.BIKE was launched in Copenhagen, Denmark—a country known for its advanced cycling culture.

100% Aiming to create a society where people can make better choices for both themselves and the planet—through the use of renewable energy and the realization of a circular economy—we have continued to evolve beyond the boundaries of the e-bike category and have grown into one of the world’s leading e-bike brands.

And this year, as the brand celebrates its 10th anniversary, a special page titled “10 YEARS OF MOVING PEOPLE" has been released. We're told that content will be released gradually through the end of the year.

There's also a video filmed in Marrakech, Morocco, documenting the new chapter for MATE.BIKE.

In addition, we are launching “MATE.CARE,” an annual maintenance plan that covers scheduled maintenance and the replacement of consumables at this time.

There are two plans: the "STANDARD PLAN" for casual users and the "PREMIUM PLAN" for heavy users. Please see the overview section at the bottom of the article for details.

And, for the first time in about three years, a pop-up event will be held in Fukuoka Prefecture at “Kaitaiku Square Garden,” the largest mixed-use complex in the Fukuoka Tenjin area. During the event, all models and colors will be on display, and visitors will even be able to take test drives through the streets of Fukuoka.
