One fashion house that’s currently attracting renewed attention is .
The reason for this is the appointment of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez—the designer duo who shaped an era of the American fashion scene—as creative directors.
The runway show held at the Château de Vincennes in Paris this past March served as the debut of the duo’s first men’s collection, signaling the dawn of a new era for the historic fashion house.
The guest invited to this special event was actor Masaki Okada, who was recently selected as a brand ambassador for *Loewe*.
He first appeared in a Loewe campaign in 2023. Since then, he has reportedly deepened his relationship with Loewe through appearances at events and editorial photo shoots.
“When I saw the show in Paris this past March, I was simply blown away by how brilliantly Jack and Lazarus embodied Loewe’s ‘surprise’ and ‘playfulness.’ I’ve always wanted to break free from stereotypes and take on a wide range of roles, and I sense the same spirit in Jack and Lazaro’s vision as they blaze new trails.”
Mr. Okada made his acting debut in 2006. The film *Drive My Car*, in which he appeared and which was released in 2021, made headlines for becoming the first Japanese film to win the Best Screenplay Award at the 74th Cannes International Film Festival and for winning the Best International Feature Film Award at the 94th Academy Awards.
Looking at the photos, Mr. Okada really looks great in those clothes. It seems we’ll be seeing him dressed in Loewe’s new collection more often from now on.
