Born from a love of car culture, the POGGY × ept sneakers. Racing driver Misa Orito added a special touch to the launch.

A special pair of shoes has been released by the South Korean footwear brand “East Pacific Trade,” commonly known as “ept.”

It’s the “CHECKMATE DRIVER” sneaker, created in collaboration with POGGY, a fashion curator and the Japan director of 〈ept〉.

Drawing on POGGY's passion for car culture, this collection is inspired by driving shoes and designed to blend seamlessly with contemporary fashion.

The design is unique, featuring shoelaces that extend all the way to the tip of the shoe and a toe guard.

The color options include "POGGY BROWN" and "POGGY GREY," both of which are inspired by vintage outdoor shoes.
