From low mountains in and around Tokyo to the 3,000-meter-class "100 Famous Mountains," this group engages in a wide range of activities tailored to the participants’ skill levels, but their goal is extremely simple: “to enjoy a delicious beer.” We focus above all on scouting out great restaurants at the base of the mountains, and sometimes we even sneak a bottle of wine and some glasses into our backpacks to raise a toast at the summit.

This wonderfully cheerful "HIKING FOR BEER" will hold its first pop-up event on Saturday, September 19, at the event space on the 5th floor of "Omokado" in Harajuku.

This pop-up features a lineup of apparel items that embody the laid-back spirit of “HIKING FOR BEER.” The collection includes pieces that are perfect not only for hiking but also for relaxing in a hot spring after your hike or for wearing at an izakaya where you’ll be raising your glass time and time again. The designs were created by “entrance works,” a design studio based in Tokyo and Berlin.

It seems there will also be an event at the venue that’s sure to be a hit with beer lovers: free cans of beer will be handed out to those who purchase merchandise. If you follow the official Instagram account, you’ll also receive an original sticker.
