If you’re a longtime fan of knitwear, cash & barba is rolling out a series of new “Worsted Cashmere” classics.

As I get older, I’ve come to realize that dressing for the season is a “refined taste.” This isn’t limited to clothing; it applies to eating ingredients when they’re in season as well. Understanding the ingredients, choosing them while taking the temperature and my mood into account, and enjoying them—that’s a true luxury.

That said, replacing them every few months is a hassle. So, *Cash & Barba* came up with the idea of a “cashmere sweater you can wear 150 days a year.”

The result is “Worsted Cashmere,” a new staple in the cashmere collection.

“Worsted” refers to combed yarn (yarn spun from fibers aligned parallel to one another), which is made possible by using the finest, longest-fiber cashmere. Artisans carefully knit it on hand-operated looms, paying meticulous attention to the delicate linking and the flat shoulder finish achieved through hand-sewing.
 
This lightweight knit has just the right balance—it can be worn on its own as a sweatshirt or layered as a base layer during colder weather. It’s the perfect travel companion.

We’re releasing five styles this time. Let’s take a look at each one. First up is the crew neck, a staple of our brand. Often chosen as “the first piece” to buy, this model is a versatile option that strikes a balance between the casual comfort of a sweatshirt and an elegant vibe, with a slightly relaxed fit.

This season’s lineup features a total of 10 colors: the popular shades from last year—Black, Top Gray, Tomato Red, V Green, and Purple—along with new colors Navy, Charcoal, Brown, Beige, and Vibrant Blue.

Worsted Cashmere 150 Cardigan ¥ 42,900

Next up is our high-gauge cardigan. It serves as a behind-the-scenes guardian against the chill of air conditioning in summer workplaces, takes center stage as a top in the fall, and acts as a reliable supporting player in layering during the colder months. We’ve designed it to be just the right thickness so it can be worn for an extended season. It comes in the same 10 colors as our crew-neck knit.

Next up is the polo-collar cardigan, which made its debut last fall. This single piece combines the refined elegance of a polo collar with the versatility of a cardigan. It’s a versatile piece that lets you change your look depending on how you button it or layer it. It comes in 10 colors.

Next up is the regular-fit crewneck. It's a new addition this season.

This series retains the design of previous models but features a slightly smaller size, making it perfect not only for those who prefer a compact fit but also for business settings. It is available in 10 colors.

Last but not least is the V-neck, which exudes a mature charm. This style allows for plenty of creative freedom around the neckline—whether you layer it over a lightweight crew-neck T-shirt or accessorize it to make a statement. It’s available in 10 colors.
