Clothing, food, tableware, and the finest wines. Uti’s flagship store is hosting an event that embodies the ideal weekend.

〈Outil〉 proposes clothing designed as practical tools, drawing inspiration from French workwear and uniforms. Its flagship store, “outil atelier shop,” is a unique space that sometimes serves as an exhibition hall and other times as a relaxing spot where wine is served—a place that seems to embody the very lifestyle of its designer, Yuya Uta.

The second installment of “outil assembler,” a gathering set in this very store, will be held over two days on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20. True to the event’s name, this edition will once again feature a rich program where specialists in fashion, food, tableware, and wine will “assemble” (come together).

First and foremost, of course, the lineup features items from “Uti,” run by the event’s organizer, Mr. Uta. In addition, “Fleuve” from Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, will be participating, selling beautiful vintage plates. To top it all off, catering by food writer Kizuko Hiyamizu—who is widely recognized for her work in books, magazines, and advertisements—will add a special touch to the event.

And, of course, no event hosted by Mr. Uda—an unparalleled wine enthusiast—would be complete without exceptional wines. This time, different specialists will be appearing each day. On Saturday, the 19th, Kentaro Emoto, former co-owner of the restaurant “Kabi,” will be joining us. On Sunday, the 20th, Ryo Kobayashi, a natural wine importer, will be participating and selling wine.
