A Japan premiere. An installation featuring soap, presented by Flamma at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the design studio FRAMA handles a wide range of projects, from product design—including furniture, lighting, and fragrances—to interior design. While valuing the inherent character of materials, simple geometry, and universal beauty, the studio creates a variety of products and spaces related to everyday life.

That very same *Furama* is currently presenting its installation featuring Bersope—which was unveiled at Copenhagen Fashion Week this past August—for the first time in Japan.

The venue is “Graph Paper Osaka.” Since its opening, the store has carried 〈Furama〉 furniture and products, showcasing the brand’s aesthetic as a shop-in-shop that coexists with 〈Graph Paper〉 apparel.

Drawing inspiration from architectural elements such as bricks and walls, the installation makes use of the bar soap’s form and stacks them like building blocks, thereby reconfiguring the everyday bar soap into a sculptural object. It reinterprets this product—which is an integral part of daily life through hand care and fragrance—from the perspectives of both function and form.

To coincide with the installation’s opening, a special selection of “Furama” home objects—such as cutlery and towels—is on display. Objects curated by “Graph Paper” are also featured, creating a space unique to “Graph Paper Osaka.”
