A popular illustrator has created an original illustration for Volkswagen’s 2027 desk calendar. It features a variety of cars, including the ID. Buzz and the Beetle. A giveaway is currently underway through Saturday, October 31.

Today, we’re introducing the 2027 desk calendar from Volkswagen, the German automaker that enriches the lifestyles of so many people around the world.

An illustrator who is widely active both in Japan and abroad,Mr. Seiji MatsumotoHowever, all 13 visuals were created specifically for this project.

The award-winning, innovative electric minivan, the “ID. Buzz" and "Golf"—a world-class brand that has continued to evolve for over half a century—are just a few examples of our diverse and up-to-date lineup.

The lineup also features iconic cars from throughout history, such as the “Beetle,” beloved around the world, and the “Volkswagen Bus,” a symbol of the free-spirited lifestyle and surf culture of the 1960s.

Through Mr. Matsumoto’s unique, comical, and whimsical worldview, the campaign depicts various scenes of daily life with a Volkswagen.
