A solo exhibition by photographer Takuro Toyama is being held in Chigasaki to commemorate the publication of his new photo book, *Ventilate*.

Active in a wide range of fields, including fashion, music, and advertisingGray's owl (Epimedium falcatum)Mr. [Name]. He is a photographer who has been a great help to us at Fuinam with various fashion shoots and interviews.

To commemorate the release of his new photo book, *Ventilate*, he will hold a solo exhibition of the same name starting Saturday, October 31, at “Curiosity,” a venue in Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Ordinary residential neighborhoods and their walls; photographs taken of printed photos; and scenes reminiscent of paintings or video game screens. In this work, these diverse elements unfold as a single, continuous sequence.

In this context, Mr. Toyama focuses on perceiving photographs not merely as something to be viewed with the eyes, but as a “sensation of touch.” He is also fascinated by the similarities and discrepancies that arise as images are transformed into physical prints or overlap with his own memories.

The works on display are not bound by a single meaning or a single “correct” interpretation. Through the textures and forms of their subjects, as well as the cultures behind them, these photographs gently evoke different images in the viewer’s mind, passing pleasantly before their eyes. That is the essence of these photographs.

At the venue, prints that allow visitors to experience this expansion of thought will be on display and available for purchase. In addition, we plan to sell past collections—including the new photo book *Ventilate*, as well as *DEVENIR* and *New Habitations: from North to East 11 years after 3.11*.
