Detroit House master Marcellus Pittman is coming to Japan! He’ll be performing in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo.

From the exhilaration of soul and disco to trippy machine funk and house. In the hands of Detroit house master Marcellus Pittman, tracks with vastly different textures are woven together into a single groove.

Pittman has performed as a member of “3 Chairs” alongside Detroit legends such as Moodymann, Theo Parrish, and Rick Wilheit. With a setlist where you never know what’s coming next, meticulous mixing, and a raw, human groove, the reason he’s been thrilling dance floors around the world for so many years is evident in his DJ sets.

He began his career as a trackmaker for Home Grown, a local hip-hop group in Detroit. After meeting Theo Parrish, he released *Essential Selections* Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 on “Sound Signature.” He subsequently founded his own label, “Unirhythm Records,” and has released works on various labels, including “FXHE,” run by Omar S.

Starting with a party at “CLUB MAGO” in Nagoya on Friday, November 6, he will embark on an Asia-Pacific tour that takes him from Japan to South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia. He will then perform at “Club JOULE” in Osaka on Saturday, November 7, and at “VENT” in Tokyo on Saturday, November 14. The local DJs waiting at each venue are all heavy hitters who know how to energize their local scenes. A unique night awaits in each of these three cities.
