Erji Kasai is a photographer who has been at the forefront of photography since the late 1990s, working in a number of fields including music, fashion, and culture magazines. This December, he will hold two photo exhibitions in succession.
The first one will be held under the same title as Kasai's photo book "Tokyo Lovers," which was released in May. As those who have seen the book know, it contains a group of stimulating and glamorous photographs, and this time, new photos have been added to the collection. A reception will be held at "Trump Room" in Shibuya on Saturday, December 9, the first day of the exhibition.
The second exhibition is about "flowers". A large number of photographs of daily landscapes and flowers that he has taken up to this point will be exhibited. In contrast to "Tokyo Lovers," this exhibition depicts a delicate and nostalgic world. This exhibition will be held at "BOOKMARC" in Harajuku from December 15 (Fri.) to December 24 (Sun.).
. It is quite unusual for photo exhibitions to be held at the same time. This exhibition shows the flexibility of Kasai's approach to creation. It would be interesting to enjoy the differences between the two exhibitions if you visit them on a ladder. We hope you will visit the exhibition.
