Non-native's Takayuki Fujii redesigned the latest model with the theme of "learning from the past. After discussions with the directors and buyers of five of Tokyo's leading select stores, the new model was completed in a color scheme that each store has a special attachment to.
The five stores are Pilgrim Surf+Supply, ISETAN MEN'S, UNITED ARROWS & SONS, H BEAUTY& YOUTH, and vendor. YOUTH", and "vendor".
A novelty pouch made to match the coloring of each store is included for purchasers. These are very useful in a humble way.
The two models chosen as the basis for this collaboration are the COMPASS 30 and SKETCH 8. Takayuki Fujii redesigned them by overlapping the image of "Gregory" that he felt in the 90s.
The brand tag picks up the printed name ), which was hurriedly made due to the factory relocation at the time of design (, which was used only for a short period of two years from 1983 to 1984.
