Many people buy a guidebook when they go on a trip somewhere. However, there must have been many times when they thought that guidebooks only contained information that could be found anywhere, or that they could not scratch an itch. We tend to seek things that "tourists don't come to see" or "are not in the guidebooks," which are at odds with the purpose of the guidebooks.
For those who love to travel and are planning a trip to Kagoshima, Hitoshi Okamoto's guidebook "Minna no Kagoshima Guide" will be released on Monday, April 23. This is the third edition of his guidebook, following "Boku no Kagoshima Guide" and "Sequel to Boku no Kagoshima Guide. As the title suggests, the book is about "me" to "everyone.

This work was created together with the students of the editing workshops that Hitoshi Okamoto has been holding in Kagoshima. While the first and second editions focused on core locations selected by Mr. Okamoto, this edition reflects the perspectives and ideas of the students. This new edition reflects the students' perspectives and ideas. It covers a wider area than the previous edition, and also contains information more closely related to their daily lives. This is also the reason why the title was changed from "I" to "Minna".
Like its predecessor, this book is filled with essay elements and is also a great book to read as a reference for your travel attitude and how to enjoy your trip. If you have not yet made your Golden Week plans, or if you are planning a trip to Kagoshima, please pick up a copy.
