Here is one more news from the new Shibuya PARCO, which has been the talk of the town since its opening last week. PORTER EXCHANGE, a concept store focusing on the famous "Tanker" series from Yoshida Kaban (PORTER), has opened.
As you know, the "Tanker" series was designed with the MA-1 flight jacket as its motif. Based on these roots, the store is designed based on the concept of POST EXCHANGE (storefront), a military base camp. Here, you will find the full lineup of "Tanker" products, as well as a selection of "Porter Exchange" exclusive items.
. First, let's introduce the collaboration items. . This is a BE@RBRICK clad in the "Tanker" black-colored fabric. The moving parts are colored orange for a point of reference. Two sizes are available: 400% and the extra-large 1000%.
The PX Exclusive features a different color combination of the body fabric and parts than the original tankard.
This is a waist bag with an impressive military-inspired, rugged belt. While its appearance is impressive, it also has a functional aspect in that its length can be adjusted by the position of the snap buttons placed on the belt.
The fanny pack, half the size of the previously mentioned waist bag, is the perfect size for an off-duty bag. The simplified design with a single outside compartment makes it a cute, colon-like bag. It is also good to wear it diagonally as an accessory.
These boxing gloves were made in collaboration with "Winning," a leading Japanese boxing equipment manufacturer. Originally, the entire instep was made of cowhide leather, but instead, it is made of "tankard" nylon twill. The inside is also decorated with rescue orange, and attention has been paid to the smallest details.
Lastly, we present a specially ordered basketball from "Spalding". The black base color is colored with rescue orange. The front of the basketball has a Porter brand tag sewn onto it, giving it a tankard-like appearance despite being a ball.
The Porter Exchange, with a large selection of special items. It is located on the first floor, just off Nakashibu Street. The military-like iron grating and tanker tent are landmarks. Don't miss it when you drop by Shibuya Parco, a new landmark in Shibuya.
