RIMOWAThe new sunglasses are a collaboration with eyewear brand "Garrett Late California Optical (G.L.O.)" from "Suitcase". We would like to introduce an unexpected and surprising brand combination of suitcases and eyewear.
There are six models of sunglasses in total. There are two main types of models, one with acetate frames and the other with metal frames, each available in three colors. All of them are round frames with the same shape of two bridges, and have a modern design that is both simple and classic at the same time. One of the features of these sunglasses is that they come with a polycarbonate sunglass case made by "Rimowa" for this occasion.
For those who are not familiar with Garrett-Rate California Optical (G.L.O.), as the name suggests, the brand was started in California. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the brand's creation, which has an excellent balance of designs that skillfully incorporate contradictory elements of classic and modern. It should be noted that all eyewear is designed in a studio in downtown Los Angeles and made entirely by hand.
In addition to the sunglasses, the lineup also includes a limited edition set of two types of luggage stickers and a suitcase set.
The suitcase set includes a special edition Rimowa Essential Cabin with the "GLCO" logo, sunglasses with gold-colored metal frames, a beach towel, surf wax, luggage stickers, and luggage tags. The set also includes a beach towel, surf wax, luggage sticker, and luggage tag.
In addition, a campaign movie has been released for the collaboration. The film was written and directed by Dave Franco, an actor from California. The scene where he runs around town using a suitcase as a skateboard is very cute (laugh).
A collaboration full of highlights has truly been born. Why don't you get these sunglasses for the summer when the sun's rays get stronger?
