Do you remember the capsule collection by KENZO that we introduced the other day? These items feature not the brand's iconic tiger, but a polar bear. The archival prints from the 1990s, which have been revived with some modifications, do not look old even today.
This will be followed by a new collection using the same motif. This time, it is a collaboration with KHRISJOY.
For those who don't know, Chris Joy is an Italian brand started in 2017 by Marzia Bellotti, a longtime stylist for UK Vogue magazine, that makes design-rich down jackets.
One of the highlights of this collection is the bold use of color, freely arranged in a polar bear print. And the oversized silhouette, which can be woven with a flurry of feathers, wraps the body like a cocoon.

Kenzo is known for its playful designs, but I don't think there is any other down jacket that takes it this far. The Kenzo Omotesando store, Ginza Six store, and Hankyu Umeda store carry this jacket in Japan.
