THE WEEKENDER, an autumn cultural festival organized by HOUYHNHNM's and PARCO, will start in Shibuya in October, following Nagoya, Shinsaibashi, and Sapporo PARCO in September. The curator of the event is "stacks bookstore" in Oku-Shibuya.

A bookstore in Shibuya, Oku-Shibuya that uses books as a medium to freely cross art, fashion, music, food, and other fields, and to hold exhibitions and create things. Maruro Yamashita, who runs "stacks bookstore," hails from Tokyo. He plans to use his extensive network, both in Japan and abroad, to present a broad lineup of books regardless of genre.
This year's exhibition will feature works by LURK, the main graphic designer for THE WEEKENDER, as well as zines that can be considered the city's textbooks, and other items with analog appeal that will be on display and for sale.
