One of Rimowa's best-known products is the "Essential" series. These polycarbonate suitcases are lighter and easier to handle than their aluminum counterparts, and are favored by people of all ages.
The new colors "Mint" and "Papaya" will be introduced to the "Essential" series.
The soft green color "mint" is a reference to the pastel colors of buildings in tropical cities. On the other hand, "papaya" is a bright orange color reminiscent of a sunset.
Both suitcases are equipped with features unique to Rimowa suitcases, such as an infinitely extendable handle, a multi-wheel system, and a TSA-approved lock. Inside, there is a full-zip compartment for storing luggage and a zipped pocket for small items. The height of the "Flex Divider," a partition that prevents luggage from collapsing, can be adjusted, which is a nice feature.
The lineup includes "Mint" in three sizes: cabin, check-in M, and trunk plus, and "Papaya" in three sizes: cabin, check-in L, and trunk plus.
There will also be accessories and bags to match the new suitcases in the new colors.
They will go on sale on Thursday, May 2. They will be available at Rimowa stores nationwide and on the official website.
