Under the concept of "Wearable Tokyo," "Unroute" proposes a unique style by combining original apparel and sportswear with a hint of mode. In this issue, we take an in-depth look at the label, which is expected to make great strides in the future in response to the growing sports mood, from all angles. In this sixth installment, we introduce the best items of the season from Rie Tanaka, who has been the most discerning buyer of Unroute since the label's inception!

Rie Tanaka/ Buyer, Unroute

Born in 1977. He has worked as a sales representative for "United Arrows" since his school days, and joined the company after graduation. After working as a member of the men's clothing staff and in charge of e-commerce, he participated in the establishment of "Unroute" in 2014.

1. for running and not running. Versatile functional T-shirt.

Let's start with buyer Tanaka's favorite items, T-shirts. These three items were specially ordered by Unroute from RPLC (Replica), an up-and-coming Tokyo-based brand that just started in 2016. The front of the T-shirt has a running or sports motif graphic. The body is made of 100% polyester, so it can be used as running wear, and the simple box silhouette makes it suitable for everyday wear.

2. impressive back print. T-shirt of an up-and-coming brand from Warsaw.

Dreamland Syndicate T-shirts: ¥5,800+tax each

This T-shirt with a bold back print is from Dreamland Syndicate, an up-and-coming street brand from Warsaw, Poland. The material is cotton 100%. "This brand is different from ordinary fashion brands, and is a unique brand that develops activities rooted in various cultures such as skateboarding and music. It is also attracting attention at highly sensitive select stores in Europe.

Commune de Paris T-shirts: ¥7,900+tax each

This T-shirt is from "Commune de Paris," established in 2010 with the brand identity of Paris in 1871, when the revolutionary municipality "Commune de Paris" was born. The brand offers a full lineup of apparel, but we only select T-shirts for sale at Unroute. The silhouette and cuffs are elegant and clean, as well as the classy graphics. The T-shirts have a stylish atmosphere that embodies the French style of today.

Oakley" has a strong image of eyewear, including sunglasses, but the company also offers a collection of sports-inspired apparel that emphasizes ease of movement. The collection is so functional that you can play sports wearing it, but it also has a high level of fashion appeal, with subdued colors and logos in the same colors, so it can be used for street wear as well. It is also important to note that since this is a Japanese project, it is made to fit the Japanese body shape.

Hats and berets are often made from autumn and winter-inspired materials such as knitwear and velvet, but I think it is interesting that Kijima has dared to express them in cool linen.

This is a special piece of clothing specially ordered by Unroute for UEG.

Outerwear by [UEG] and [Unroute] ¥27,000+TAX

This is a special-order model of a hoody outerwear from the Polish brand "UEG" with a stencil print of "WEARABLE TOKYO," which is the concept of "Unroute. The material used is Tyvek, a highly breathable material made from recycled paper, and is more comfortable than it looks. The front is an anorak version instead of a full-zip, giving it a light, casual, sports-casual look and feel.
