01 Is it spiritual to discharge by touching the earth?
Earthing, in essence, is a health practice in which barefoot contact with the earth is said to release the electricity stored in the body. There are various theories about its scientific basis, and it is often called spiritual. However, even outdoor enthusiasts should be able to relate to the pleasant sensation of walking barefoot on the earth on a sunny day. . Perhaps that is why it seems to be gaining citizenship these days.
Despite the pleasant-looking photos, Hiro says he basically hates the outdoors. However, he does occasionally go to a large park in Tokyo for ersathing.
I was told about it by the owner of a store I often go to. He knows a lot about spirituality, as well as music and fashion. He told me that when you do Earthing, a chakra will come up around your navel.
When the keyword "chakra" is mentioned, I feel that the spiritual element has suddenly become stronger. But, in saying this, from the image of Hiro with his tattoos, he seems to be far away from spirituality. ......
." "Yes, that's right. At first, I didn't believe in spirituality at all. But the owner told me, 'Think you've been fooled once, give it a try. I trusted him very much, so I thought, well, if he says so. I did that, and it turned out to be true. I don't know if it was by chance or not (laughs).
How do you actually enjoy Earthing?
I think the ideal would be to feel at one with the earth, but I just go barefoot and relax on the grass. I don't bring a chair or anything, so I just put my shoes on the ground and walk around, read a book, etc. . I do it because it simply feels good.
By the way, do you have any recommendations for parks in Earthing?
I have no particular preference, but I often go to Shinjuku Gyoen. The lawn is wide and comfortable. There is shade, and there are cafes. Maybe it's because there is a fee, but it's not too crowded.
