Toto-Ken x Nicher Travel. A one-night only “Machitabi Guru Run” will be held.

“Traveling” through running.

Of course, running is fun in and of itself, but it’s also about venturing down unfamiliar streets and encountering new sights and people. That whole experience might just be a mini-journey in itself. To make that feeling more accessible to everyone, Tottoken has teamed up with “travel experts” at *Nitschart label』 are teaming up to host a one-night-only group run event.

Instead of just visiting tourist attractions, we aim to immerse ourselves a little more deeply in the local atmosphere and way of life. This latest Gururan trip is a perfect example of the kind of travel that defines Nikkatsu Travel.

From Hamacho to Asakusa. A 9-kilometer stroll through the evening streets.

The venue for this event is "Totoken," a running station in Nihonbashi Hamacho. We’ll meet at this location—which also serves as the home base for the Fuinam Running Club♡—and kick things off with an orientation, icebreaker, and warm-up exercises.

From there, the group heads toward Asakusa and Kaminarimon, passing through Hamacho Park and along the banks of the Sumida River. It’s a leisurely route where you can enjoy a pleasant conversation as you ride through the streets just as the sun begins to set.

We’ll break up near Senso-ji Temple and set aside some free time. You’re free to wander around Asakusa, pop into any shops that catch your eye, or enjoy your own little detours.

After meeting up again at the entrance to Sumida Park for a group photo, we ran along the Sumida River once more on our way to Totoken. After our run, we enjoyed a bath and sauna at Totoken. You can opt for a quick shower, soak in the tub to thoroughly relax, or even take a refreshing walk outside after the sauna to feel completely refreshed.

After that, you’ll have some free time again. You might want to grab a drink at Totoken or take a leisurely stroll around the area. Please enjoy this little reward for runners—“run, recharge, and drink”—to your heart’s content.

The event wraps up with a social gathering. It’s a chance for participants—who vary in running speed, where they live, and what they do for a living—to mingle casually over a drink. We hope this evening will serve as a gateway to running and help broaden your horizons, even if just a little.

In addition, all participants in this year’s Gurlán will receive a <ROTOTO〉We’re giving away a pair of socks! The item is the “ALLROUNDER TECH-MESH ”NO SHOW’.” They come in black, and we have 10 pairs each in sizes S, M, and L.

ALLROUNDER TECH-MESH “NO SHOW”

The "TECH-MESH" series features a breathable mesh knit that helps reduce moisture buildup. Lightweight and quick-drying, these shoes offer a soft feel thanks to SOLOTEX, and also incorporate odor-control yarn that helps minimize sweat-related odors. They’re the perfect choice for outdoor activities, sports, and travel.

This Gururan event packs a little bit of travel into a single night. No running experience is necessary. Whether you love traveling, enjoy exploring the city, or have been curious about Totoken—whatever your reason, we invite you to take this opportunity to experience a “night of running and travel.”
