"The primal act of walking through the mountains for days on end, camping out along the way. I felt that hidden within this experience were clues for navigating modern society," said the photographer,Junpei IshikawaI’ll talk about it. I’m sure some of you Fuinam readers who love the outdoors can relate.
From Friday, March 20, for a period of 10 days, works captured by Mr. Ishikawa himself while trekking through the rugged mountainous regions of Italy will be on display at "OFO BY INHERIT GALERRY."
“Teriol,” which also serves as the title of the exhibition, is a minority language known as “Ladin” spoken exclusively in the Dolomites region of northeastern Italy. Translated into English, it means “path,” and in Japanese, it conveys the meanings of "course," "direction," and "way of life."
Photo T-shirts and photo books created in collaboration with "SUNDAYS BEST" will be on sale at the venue. Coffee and pizza will also be available on weekends during the event, so feel free to stop by while you're out for a stroll.
