Every “classic” sneaker has its origins. The "Authentic," known as an icon of Vans, is no exception. A pair that returns to those roots is now available as an exclusive from BILLY’S.

The “Premium Authentic 44 Deck” being released this time is a model that recreates the specifications from the brand's early days. Its most distinctive feature is the use of a “deck sole” with wavy grooves, rather than the waffle sole that is currently mainstream. This detail evokes the pre-skate culture era of Vans, resulting in a pair of shoes that allows you to reconnect with the brand’s roots.

The upper is crafted from canvas woven with thicker-gauge yarn than usual. Combined with a sleek silhouette achieved through a custom last and a highly cushioned insole, these shoes strike the perfect balance between classic style and comfortable wear. Available in three colors: blue, burgundy, and olive. Each features a subdued hue that blends seamlessly into any outfit.

In addition, the Tokyo-based band cero was featured in this campaign’s visuals. Their commitment to continuous evolution—even more than 20 years after their formation—resonates with this model’s theme of “returning to our roots while embracing innovation.”
