With a long history spanning 160 years since its founding, MAMMUT continues to create innovative outdoor apparel and gear. Under the brand slogan, “Rise with the Mountain – Life is all about challenges,” MAMMUT supports those who are always taking on new challenges.

Just the other day, *Mammut* opened its second company-operated store in Osaka, “Mammut Shinsaibashi.” The store is located in “Quartz Shinsaibashi,” a new commercial complex that opened on the same day. With its prime location in the heart of Osaka, directly connected to the train station, the store will offer products that bridge the gap between the outdoors and urban life.

I’ve heard this store was conceived as a space that embodies Switzerland’s exceptional design quality. The interior design was selected with inspiration drawn from the design aesthetic of Zurich, Switzerland’s central city.

Here are some photos from the reception party held ahead of the grand opening. We welcomed FM802 DJ Daiki Higuchi and model Eru Aoba as guests for a talk show. They livened up the event with a wide range of topics, including Eru Aoba’s own ways of enjoying the mountains and tips on how to style outdoor wear in the city.

This year, is sponsoring the outdoor music festival “FM802 MEET THE WORLD BEAT 2026,” held at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park, for the first time. The brand will be selling collaboration T-shirts and offering opening-day giveaways. In addition, a new store is set to open on Friday, May 1, at “LaLaport EXPOCITY” in Suita, Osaka.
