The beauty of sports is that everyone can enjoy them freely, whether you are a competitor or a supporter. The number of people who are incorporating sports into their lifestyles for the sake of their mental and physical health is rapidly increasing, and we are seeing a greater range of options available to us every day.
Among the most impressive is the wide variety of content from football brands and communities to promote the quadrennial celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will begin in June.
This time, we focus on the ”adidas PLAY FREE PARK,” a football park that will open for a limited time at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya. It is a place where you can enjoy football in your own style, embodying the "Play Free" concept that adidas has set for this summer, so be sure to check it out.
During the event, there will be a 3-on-3 football tournament with the right to challenge a special team, a gorgeous show stage by athletes and partners supported by the brand, and "adiFOTO," an original photo machine with a memorable photo ID, among other three major contents.
In addition, there will be live music and performances by artists who are at the forefront of the scene, and other contents that can be enjoyed from a cultural aspect as well.
3VS3 FOOTBALL
Win or lose, 3vs3, where there is a pitch, legends are born. In the middle of Shibuya, the person who has more fun than anyone else will win a 3-on-3 football tournament for two days only on a special pitch at MIYASHITA PARK. This is a tournament for the general public, where free play determines who wins and who loses. On each day, a special team of active professional soccer players will appear. The team that wins the tournament earns the right to challenge the special team.
PLAY FREE SHOW
Various cultures will be fused with football, and a special show stage will be held for this day only, along with splendid guests that transcend the boundaries of sports and genres. Details on guests and contents will be released soon on the official adidas SNS account.
FOOTBALL ARCADE
Football, on and off the pitch. Various contents that can be enjoyed freely by everyone will be available in the park, including contents that can be enjoyed on the special pitch and adiFOTO, a photo machine that can only be used here to take photos.
In addition, a special pop-up store “adidas FIFA World Cup™ Store Rayard Miyashita Park ”PLAY FREE STORE" will also be open. The store offers a wide variety of uniforms and goods for the Japanese national team, as well as those of Germany, Argentina, Mexico, and other countries for which adidas is the official supplier.
Limited novelty gifts and a display of past official game balls will also be available, so be sure to take a peek here as well.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy football to the fullest, so why not bring a friend and join us?
Other details of the event will be posted on the official adidas social networking accounts, so be sure not to miss out if you are interested.
