A classic product of a royal brand is still good. They have a long history, reliable specifications, and never get boring no matter how old they get. However, this is a series of articles for those who are a little bit gullible. We will introduce you to a brand that is actually unknown to you, but that you will find very appealing. The 26th issue is a minor good from "Porter.

The profession of carrying customers' luggage at hotels, train stations, airports, etc. is called porter. Since they carry all kinds of bags day and night, porters are also said to be those who know how to make the best of their bags.
The origin of the bag brand "Porter" is just such a thing, and the "Tanker" series is without a doubt a major standard. The Tanker series is definitely a big classic, and the sage green and black colors brought out by the bonding material are also probably remembered as iconic colors.
The minor good we found at Porter is the "PORTER CRAG" series. This casual series is dyed in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, where the textile industry is thriving.
The dyeing method is also unique. The fabric is an original back satin fabric made of densely woven nylon/cotton blended yarn, and is dyed using the "two bath dyeing" method. This is a method of continuously soaking yarns of different materials in two different dyeing solutions to dye them, resulting in deeper shades of color. In addition, the drying process after dyeing gives the fabric a unique texture with bounce.
Explanations are moderate. The lineup of bags is quite extensive, with 9 models x 4 colors. The first of these that caught my attention was the Olive messenger bag in size M.
Despite its rugged atmosphere, the bag is packed with features. The front side has a flap that can be adjusted according to the amount of luggage, and there are five divider pockets on the inside, as well as a number of open pockets on the outside. The storage capacity is perfect. The top handle makes it possible to carry it by hand as well as on the shoulder.
For those who have more luggage, we recommend the L size Boston bag. It can be carried by hand or on the shoulder, and has three interior divider pockets, a hanging pocket, and an exterior pocket.
Red has a strong presence and requires courage to use, but the nuanced burgundy is elegant and can be used without hesitation.
Tote bag ¥55,000
POTR CHEEKY BOY ¥2,530 (*PORTER STORE exclusive)
For everyday use, a tote bag that fits A4 size. The long handle allows it to be used either on the shoulder or hand-held, and like the two bags above, it has excellent storage capacity. Thanks to the finely designed pockets, you won't lose any small items in the bag.
The coyote color has an outdoorsy feel, but the design gimmick gives it an urban look. A key chain depicting the brand's well-known character "Porter-kun" from his Boy Scout days is also available.
Going back to the beginning, if a porter were to hold this bag in his hand, he would probably think. "It's light despite its appearance! Porter would be surprised. The "CRAG" series is a surprise even for Porter. Please try it in the store.
Location note: A corner of the bicycle shop ’SCREAMIN' WHEELS" in Nakameguro. The store is surrounded by parts and products, and the experience is about 5 tatami mats.
