June is Pride Month! Carne Volente will be adding some color to the first day of the Pride event held at Shibuya PARCO.

June is Pride Month every year. Events are held around the world to promote understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate diversity.

In connection with this, Shibuya PARCO will host an event themed around ”diversity” from Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21, titled “PRIDE 2026" will be held. The event will feature content that allows attendees to explore a variety of perspectives through culture, including art, fashion, music, film, literature, and podcasts.

The highlight of the opening night will beCarne Bollente〉. The brand’s first-ever Pride event, “Sounds Queer, I’m in,” will be held.

Sounds Queer, I'm in Cap ¥12,000

Sounds Queer, I'm in Tee ¥13,000

On the day of the event, event-exclusive caps and T-shirts will be on sale, and DJ sets by YUKA MIZUHARA, SAMO, and DJ POIPOI will get the crowd pumped up.

YUKA MIZUHARA
Born in Kobe. In 2016, he began his career as a DJ serving as a music selector for “RECORDS,” an event led by TOWA TEI. Immersed in record digging, he rhythmically weaves his own unique sound, ranging from rare groove to electronic music with a mystical, cosmic vibe. He regularly shares mixes on his show “Wave Flower” on London’s NTS Radio, contributing to the rediscovery of buried artists and the revival of cultural trends. He also expresses himself as a vocalist, having performed alongside TOWA TEI and Haruomi Hosono. In the summer of 2026, he is scheduled to release his debut EP, *Moondust*, on Amsterdam’s prestigious label “Rush Hour.”

SAMO
In 2019, she began her career in earnest as the resident DJ for “FULLHOUSE,” a weekly event held every Saturday at “Osaka CIRCUS.” Currently based in Tokyo, she performs at various venues and regularly collaborates with globally acclaimed artists throughout the Kanto region and beyond. Born in New York and raised in Akashi, she comes from a diverse background—including early exposure to jazz drumming under parents who experienced the Paradise Garage era—and her playing style is brimming with energy that springs from her own identity.

DJ POIPOI
A Tokyo-based DJ and event organizer. While studying sound design in London, UK, he worked for the record label "NIGHTSLUGS." He has appeared on international music radio stations such as NTS Radio and Rinse FM. His setlists center on global dance music while crossing over into various genres. He hosts the monthly party “CLUB SKIN” in Shinjuku 2-chome.

At the heart of this event is a simple message: “You don’t have to express everything in rainbow colors to participate in Pride in your own way.” It’s an opportunity to express love and support in your own unique style, all with a sense of fun. We hope you’ll come check it out.
