Champion began selling knitwear in New York City in 1919. Its history took root within the sports and street cultures that defined that era, and today, while upholding that tradition, it continues to evolve as a casual brand loved around the world.
Starting with the Fall/Winter 2026 season, Champion will relocate its headquarters to Shibuya—a trendsetting hub where diverse cultures intersect—and relaunch as the new “Champion Japan.” All eyes are on Champion as it embarks on this new chapter.
With the launch of the “Made in USA” series—which embodies authentic American athletic wear—and the “True to Archives” series, which faithfully reproduces archival pieces that have captivated so many, the office in Shinano-cho has been the birthplace of countless iconic pieces.
The visuals shot there have a deeply evocative quality, as if they reflect the brand’s journey and the history it has built up over the years.
Featured in this visual are items from the aforementioned “Made in USA (MADE IN USA)” series, new items making their debut, and highly popular staple items.
These are a collection of iconic items that strongly reflect the brand’s identity, which has been in place for over 100 years. Moving forward, the brand plans to further refine its so-called “classic” items while focusing on reconstructing its brand universe and exploring new possibilities and forms of expression, so let’s look forward to further updates.
