With luxurious giveaways, too! “Rebirth Tea House,” a pop-up event that captures the charm of the foothills of Mount Fuji, will be held in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Have you ever climbed Mount Fuji? It is widely recognized as Japan’s highest free-standing peak, standing at an elevation of 3,775 meters. Its beautiful, smooth conical shape exudes such an overwhelming presence that it captivates people from both Japan and abroad.

A project by Salomon and Fujiyoshida City in Yamanashi Prefecture aims to showcase these new attractions at the foot of Mount Fuji: “Mt. FUJI Re-Style Project".

As part of that project, a pop-up event will be held in Harajuku, Tokyo, featuring Nakano Chaya—a famous spot along the Yoshida Trail on Mount Fuji that was renovated last year.

This event is titled “The Tea House of Rebirth.” Based on the cultural belief that “climbing Mount Fuji leads to rebirth,” the venue recreates the historic Fuji-michi trail, which once connected Edo and Mount Fuji. Visitors can walk along a mountain trail formed by greenery and gravel and cross the legendary River of Three Paths (Yūkyō).

In addition to the opportunity to write wishes on ema and enjoy complimentary drinks at the tea house, they’ll also be offering original hand towels and stickers as giveaways (limited quantities; available while supplies last).
