In Tokyo from the mid-1990s onward—the period when *Babyland* was created—a cultural phenomenon known as the “Girly Movement” took hold, exerting a major influence on youth culture and women’s fashion. “International Gallery BEAMS” was also one of the key players in promoting girls’ fashion and culture in Tokyo at that time.

Rather than simply recreating the works and atmosphere of the 1990s, this collection reinterprets—from a contemporary perspective—the free-spirited, laid-back culture of the late 1990s through the early 2000s, along with the sensibilities of the women who lived during that time.

The second installment, set to go on sale starting Friday, September 11, is “OFR” and “Demilks BeamsClothing and bags from a collaboration with “.” Based on an original design commissioned from “OFR,” this collection features a playful design.

The jogging sweatsuit set—the collection’s centerpiece—features a bold print of a hand-drawn graphic created by Alexandre Tümler, owner of “OFR,” based on the theme “PARIS to TOKYO.”

In addition, the lineup includes “OFR’s” signature eco-bags. They come in a total of five colors, including the iconic Beams orange.
