When it comes to the signature pieces of Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO, the “Original Sole Sneakers” are the standout.
Designer Yasuhiro Mihara created the prototype for that undulating sole out of clay. Rather than opting for a typical, symmetrical shape, he deliberately embraced the imperfections created by human hands, resulting in a uniquely iconic design.
The “EXCLUSIVE EDITION for 2026AW,” which focuses on those “Original Sole Sneakers,” will be released.
The “EXCLUSIVE EDITION” will launch for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Each collection will feature meticulously crafted pieces with special finishes and color schemes.
This new collection is based on the “BLAKEY” model, which debuted in the Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The first release features studded sneakers, and the second release features animal-print sneakers.

This animal print is rendered using chenille embroidery—a three-dimensional decorative technique familiar to fashion enthusiasts, often used on patches for varsity jackets.
The first series will go on sale starting Saturday, September 5, and the second series will go on sale starting Saturday, September 19.
