There’s a new brand—*Folklore*—that we definitely want Fuinam readers to know about. It reinterprets uniquely Japanese pop culture through the lens of art and fashion. This time, four artists are officially collaborating with “Ultraman” to release a line of T-shirts.
KOSUKE KAWAMURA
HAMADARAKA
HIROTTON
SHUSAKU TAKAOKA
The first collection features a host of eye-catching items. This “Ultraman” collection includes contributions from artist Kosuke Kawamura; HAMADARAKA, a twin artist duo consisting of Eru Arizono and Emu Arizono; HIROTTON, who expresses punk, skate culture, nature, and political themes through his unique perspective; and collage artist Shusaku Takaoka. Each artist has created two designs, available in black and white, offering rich and distinctive interpretations of “Ultraman.”
Official Online StoreYou can also purchase them online, but the only place where you can actually hold them in your hands and buy them is at the pop-up store being held in Kyoto right in the middle of Silver Week. On the day of the event, we’ll be exhibiting and selling art reproductions.
Art and fashion have always enjoyed a close relationship. This brand is sure to strike a chord with anyone who loves culture, regardless of genre. Be sure to stop by.
